We hope you’re enjoying a restful holiday season. At The 74, we’ve been reflecting on a dizzying year in education news. From the dismantling of the Education Department to immigration crackdowns that spurred concerned families to keep children home from school (or leave the country altogether) to why kids aren’t reading for fun anymore and artificial intelligence in the classroom, we have covered a vast array of important stories this year.
